About Fetchabl
And our mission to get more dogs into forever homes
Our Story
In 2025, when we set out to adopt our dog, we quickly hit the same problem thousands of prospective owners run into every day. Finding dogs at smaller, independent rescue centres meant keeping 20 browser tabs open, endlessley refreshing social media, and hoping that we didn't miss out on the perfect dog for us. In the end, we adopted through a large national charity simply because their listing system worked.
It made us realise how hard it is for independent rescue centres to get their dogs seen. Most smaller rescue centres put every pound and hour they have straight into animal care, so they don't have the time or budget to manage digital marketing.
That's why we built Fetchabl.
Fetchabl brings listings from rescue centres across the UK into one clean, simple search tool. It gives local shelters the same visibility as national organisations, and it gives adopters a single place to look.
Easier for adopters. Greater exposure for rescues. More dogs in forever homes.
What Fetchabl Is

- Enquire about adoption directly with the rescue centre via their preferred contact method.

- While we get started, we will update listings on your behalf without any extra work for you (as long as your website listings are kept up to date). If you do not have a website, we can provide a simple listing page for your rescue centre on Fetchabl.
- Once your listings are live, adopters can find your dogs on Fetchabl and enquire about adoption directly with you.

How do you make money if Fetchabl is free for adopters and rescues?
We don't! Fetchabl is a passion project. It currently costs us money to run, and of course a lot of time. We hope to find a sustainable way to cover our costs in the future (e.g. adverts, affiliates, sponsors), but we will never charge adopters or rescue centres for using Fetchabl.
